I remember the first time I entered Hollywood. Wow what fun and excitement! I really liked this casino above the other local casino's. Bright lights, music, smiles, free soda, excellent food although a little pricey, big screens and staff that sang and danced oh how fun then I sat at a slot machine and the rush quickly left. I was ready to stay a few hours but, within an hour and a half, I was broke! I was sure I would eventually win something back but, I was wrong. I took in the atmosphere for the next couple of hours then drove an hour and a half back home. A couple of months later I returned. I walked up to a slot and bet the maximum bet 3 times and won over $200.00! Fantastic! I turned around and gave all of that back plus $200.00 more within 3 hours again thinking I should be able to win something back. Again, I go home broke. This has been the same routine for the last year. Quickly lose and go home broke. I'm playing usually the penny and sometimes the quarter slots by the way. On my last visit I took a bag of change as always in the past. I go to the "cage" to have it converted to bills and 3 out of 4 times of doing this I'm hassled by the girls working there. I felt scolded for playing with my $200.00 of change. On this trip, my coat was stolen after I left it on a chair back. I realized quickly what I had done and immediately went back for it and it was gone! How rude! By this time, I had all of the fun I could take and left discouraged again. It is impossible to win at their slots. I have played all day long several times at Belterra and only spent 60.00. They have fun machines with lots of room where I could sit alone if I choose. Bells and whistles ringing constantly and people cheering! That place is addictive because it is so much fun. Hollywood on the other hand is a lot more quiet. You don't hear the jackpots or see people standing around cheering other winners on. Why? Because it's difficult to win there! I thought it was just me. That's how I ended up on here. It's NOT just me. My friend commented to me today that Hollywood just isn't fun any more. She and a friend went to the next casino down? Grand Victoria? They played and actually came home with extra money! I know everyone can not win BUT with as many times as we have been, we shouldn't lose everything EVERY time! Ready to play in Ohio or at least another casino. The one nice thing I will say is the restrooms are kept very clean!
