  • Turning Stone Casino Resort: Forget the machines!

I don't play the slot machines at Turning Stone unless they send me "freeplay" to play with. That being said, I thuroughly enjoy myself playing blackjack at TS. They give me whatever comps I ask for, including discounted or free rooms, free packs of cigarettes all day and night, and free food. They also have 2-deck blackjack now which I have done well at.The rooms in the hotel are nice, but the rooms in the Tower are just gorgeous! My one complaint would be the late check in time of 3pm.The buffet is very good, although not as good as it was when they first opened. I have also eaten at Emeralds, which is sort of dinner/burger joint. I give them a thumbs down as it's really not very good food. As I like to get back to the tables ASAP, I usually eat at the buffet and have yet to try any of the nicer restaurant.
