    My husband and I went to Hollywood casino on 5/26/11. We were thrilled to go to the casino and drove 4 and a half hours away to get there. We checked into our room and then went to go look for a place to park. The lady at the front desk told us there was 2 parking lots to park in. We drove around for 25 minutes trying to find somewhere to park and there were no open spots (both of the parking lots were very small). My husband called the front desk to ask where he can park because there were no open spots where she said and her suggestion was to just find a spot in one of those two lots. After driving around for another ten minutes with no luck we decided to just valet our car. The valet men were extremely nice but when we got to our room that's when the real problems started. My husband said he would like a non-smoking room because he is allergic to smoke. They gave us a smoking room and my husband tried to deal with it and after 15 minutes he could barely breathe and was coughing up a lung. He called the front desk to see if we could switch rooms and they told him he was told he got a smoking room and that a non-smoking room was just a preference and no guarantee. They were extremely rude about the situation and after talking to a supervisor they refused to do anything about it and told us to check-out and there are other hotels. We decided to leave the hotel and the lady at the front desk that my husband spoke to continued to be extremely rude and have an attitude. My husband asked for a receipt after checking out and she told us we would not get one because he never got charged on his card. On Tuesday the charge still appeared on his card so he called the place and the lady at he front desk never checked us out of the room so they told my husband they will not refund him because the computer says he never checked out. They accused us of never checking out and after arguing with someone on the phone and telling them to view the cameras to see our check out he told him they he did not have time to do that. My husband had to fax them all of his information that he had on checking into their hotel then faxed them the information of us checking into another hotel. Finally after going to the trouble of faxing everything to them they said he will get his money back. We are still waiting to see if we really will or not. I could not believe the amount of rude people working there. They have HORRIBLE customer service and do not care about your well being. I have never seen a business run their facility like they do!!We tried to make the best out our situation because it was 9:30pm we did not want to drive over 4 hours back home so we ended up going to the casino and winning a couple hundred dollars. It felt so good to take money from them but I will NEVER go back!!!
