First of all, the hotel (actually motel) closed a few years ago, no great loss. But if you want to venture along Fremont street, and if the sign outside the western is actually fully lit (which isn't guaranteed) you will find yourself in the lowest of the low when it comes to casinos. The slots? Well, I won a $2 payout and had to get a hand payout as the machine didn't have that much money in it (no TITOs here). What used to be the players club (which was never open) has now been replaced by a small stage for a band (which is never there). The drinks are cheap, and the blackjack is even cheaper...though the slow dealers (hey...counting to 21 isn't always easy), may drive you back to the bar. Don't even think of going into the coffee shop, and you are probably safer going to the bathroom anywhere else rather than use the restrooms here. PS ..the only casino you will find without carpeting.
