I remember first visiting the Excalibur in 1992 when I was 10 years old. It was my parents 10th wedding anniversary and my Aunt & Uncle who live near Vegas wanted to find some casinos that cater more towards kids for me to enjoy. Of course there's Circus Circus which we visited, but also The Excalibur. With video games galore, and I believe at the time a motion simulator I had a blast.Fast forward to 2010 and I fell in love with Excalibur all over again. Many of my casino reviews will be highly rated, and I guess that's because I understand and take each casino I visit for what it is/means. Sure, I wish they still had Merlin outside to fight the dragon, but this place still holds a ton of nostalgia. Cheap table games, somewhat decent slot, it ain't really that bad! There's something still very special about walking up Las Vegas Blvd. and seeing that huge castle that makes me grin.
