  • Gold Coast Hotel & Casino: Great value

We stayed at this hotel last year on a 2 night comp. It was a decent sized place and very clean. Very similar to its sister property, the Orleans, only smaller. The buffet was solid, and they have a good selection (again like the Orleans buffet) and if you're 55 and over, you can get a 2/1 on certain days.I really liked the casino and their low limits at all times of the day. There is a TGI Fridays in the casino as well as a coffee shop, and other restaurants too that I cannot recall. My only critique of the hotel is that they do not have a safe, and this was a deal breaker for me. If you want to store your stuff, you have to go to the cashier's cage, which was fine, but a pain in the neck. That would be the only reason not to stay there again. If you don't mind that, and you like clean and cheap, this is the place for you.
