  • Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino: Very dated property

While some of the casinos have decided to make a conscious effort to look like Atlantic City's heydays of the 20s, Trump Plaza looks like 1984. Trump hasn't put any money into updating the property since it was originally built. Look closely and you can see some of the paint even flaking. I've never stayed here because I'm scared to find out what the rooms look like. For table games they have $1 blackjack. Don't play it. It has a 25 cent commission per hand, win or lose. The casino seems to skew older than most of the nearby casinos. We used to go here often, but I probably stopped playing here regularly around 2001. And nothing has changed.
