We drove to Pahrump to try to look up an old friend from Detroit. We left a message and decided to hang around the town a while to give her a chance to call back. She never called but we got to spend several hours at the Nugget. They have a small bingo hall and Sheryl loves bingo so since they were starting a session, we played bingo. We bingoed about 9 times in the next hour! The locals were very friendly at first but after about our 5th bingo, they no longer liked us. We got a big kick out of that. This place is an example of what a local casino should be. Very clean, nice and full service but not too big. We ate there too and the food was fine. I tried their .99 shrimp cocktail and I have never had such hot sauce in a shrimp cocktail in my life! But that was ok, the iced tea was unlimited. All in all, we really enjoyed this place.
