    Eastside Cannery: Still Good with some downgrades

    There have been some downgrades to the Video Poker and the Craps now has Max 10X Odds. When it first opened Bob Dancer was consulting there and there were some good VP machines, full pay and close to it. Now, according to vpFREE2 the best games are 9/6 JOB 99.55% and 99.17% Bonus Poker. The bar on the 16th floor (Club 16) is no longer open as far as I know. It was a real nice place with accommodations for a band or live DJ and dancing. We hope that will come back as it was nice. The pool is very good and can facilitate outdoor entertainment. The casino is large with high ceilings, reducing the smoke content of the air. They also have a coin in section of slots and VP for those of you who like the nostalgia of handling those dirty coins. The buffet is acceptable with a decent cross section of food and coupons for two for one seem easy to obtain from various guide books and the local paper. There were some new sign up bonuses but they were out of hats when I went there. The rooms are clean, spacious and all have a good sized flat screen TV.I would have rated this higher but I've never stayed there, although they've sent me some good offers. The drawback for me is the lack of proximity to other casinos. I like to hit several in close order like Downtown, But if you like staying at one place this is a good bet.
