  • Indiana Live Casino: overall

A nice temporary casino with new casino to be finish around march attached to race track. Casino atmosphere is very nice and help is very friendly. A nice mix of slots and Video Poker but VP games have very poor pay schedules with the best game being 8/5 bonus poker only at the dollar level and only 7/5 at lower levels.

The Indiana Live is too crowded on weekends. It is difficult to get a beer. When the new casino opens early in 2009 it should be better. In regard to video poker 7/5 BP and 8/5 DDB is about best you can find in Central Indiana at the quarter level. Hoosier Park is the same as Indiana Live. In fact even the Southern Indiana Riverboats have the same VP levels except Grand Victoria which has the best VP paytables by far. I like DDB so it is play 8/5 or wait for my next trip to Vegas. I choose a couple of hours of DDB 8/5. You can still score in the short run and playing is fun.
