Steve Bourie: Yes, Lake Tahoe is probably the most beautiful natural Lake in the world! I've travel quite many places around the world in the past 10 years or so, decided to come back to Reno because its natural beauty. Again, this is a big marketing problem for Reno business, everyone expect Reno is just for old timers that wants to gamble, which is totally not true. I believe Reno can actually offer much more active activities than Vegas does, at the same time, you can still get great services and entertainment on the Casino floors Before you come next time, please give me an email at orange775@hotmail.com, and I will hook you up.

I like the place, but it certainly isn't Vegas.

It has an old-time feel to it and most of the casinos are downtown, which makes it seem more like a duplicate of downtown Vegas, rather than the Vegas Strip.

Whenever I go to Reno I always make a trip to Lake Tahoe. It's a beautiful place and anyone visiting should definitely plan on going to Lake Tahoe.

I don't know how the coupon deals works between Steve/his publisher and the casinos, but it would be nice to see more coupons for Reno casinos in future editions of the book. The 2011 edition lacks coupons for the Reno area. Reno casinos should give some thought to investing a little in that. This may entice people that buy the book to visit the Reno/Tahoe area.
